Hello Steem-Database friends wherever you are, I hope you are always in good health and blessed. Thank you to all members who still support the Steem-Database community by sharing quality original posts.

In this post I want to share posts about several topics about the problems that I got recently on steemit. There are at least 3 important topics that I will write about in this post, the three topics are about fake Burnsteem accounts, the advantages of setting 100% power up payouts and SC 07 team curation rules that I recently saw in the community. This post aims to be a discussion space as well as provide education, criticism and solutions aimed at the progress of Steemit

Fake Burn Steem Account

As we all know that currently #burnsteem25 has become the biggest campaign being run on Steemit. Having previously launched an initiative with club status rules, now #burnsteem25 is a popular topic of conversation by steemit users. Many users have contributed to the #burnsteem25 campaign in an effort to take part in the rules and initiatives campaigned by the Steemit team.

Basically, #burnsteem25 is a campaign to invite users to participate in burn coin. #burnsteem25 is an attempt to burn STEEM coins, or in other words, to burn STEEM coins automatically through the Steemit platform. Burn coin is a step to reduce the supply of STEEM circulation, so that the circulating supply will decrease automatically which can have a positive impact on the level of STEEM price stability.

Writing my analysis, this campaign has combined two very unique concepts, namely Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Burn (PoB). Instead of creating content and earning STEEM, users can also contribute to coin burn by setting payouts. To participate in the STEEM burn coin project, we can do it easily, which is only by setting 25% payout to the @null account.

However, unfortunately there are a number of users who do not really understand this project, especially in terms of setting the payout (beneficiaries rewards). Moreover, there are fake accounts in the name of @burnsteem and @full. Some people have misunderstood this account and some of them have even given payout support to the account, because they think it is an account for #burnsteem25, but in fact they have made a mistake in this regard.

The official account of the STEEM burn coin project is @null, null which means zero is an official account that works to burn coins. Meanwhile @burnsteem is a fake account and not an official project released by the Steemit team. So, only set 25% payout support to @null account to contribute to STEEM coin burn.

Benefits of Set Payout 100% Power Up

In this explanation, I will only explain in a simple way based on the analysis, experience and evidence that I got to make it easier for all users to understand, including newbies. With the hard fork system currently running on the Steem blockchain network, I am more interested in participating by setting up 100% payout for power ups. The system that is currently running has provided rewards for the amount of TRON (TRX) value that will be received by content creators.

If you make a payout setting with 100% power up, you will receive more TRON rewards. In addition, we have also contributed to stake STEEM into STEEM POWER. This will have an impact on account growth, while for financial support, we can use TRON rewards. Because the current TRON price is also very high, reaching the range of IDR 1,000 to IDR 1,050 for the August period.

Rewards STEEM POWER and TRON for periode 3-10 August 2022

By setting 100% payout for power ups we have contributed to the growth of the STEEM and TRON ecosystem. The system that runs on the current Steem block network will give you higher TRON rewards or even almost equivalent to the STEEM POWER rewards you will receive. You can use TRON rewards for financial support, without worrying about your club status, because 100% STEEM is powered up.

SC07 Team Rules Controversy

I recently saw a comment from the SC07 team by admin @kyrie1234. One of the Admins from the SC07 team gave his response on the post https://steemit.com/hive-163291/@alegnita/promo-steem-post-or-sharing-the-travel-community-in-other-social-media. The comments are as follows:

This post has NOT been curated by Team Cosmopolitan since you don't have a single comment on it. Encourage your community members to comment on your posts. Thank you. @kyrie1234

I have checked and monitored the activity since the post was published by the author. But unfortunately the post did not get upvote support from the SC07 team. Even though the post is a quality and potential post in steemit promotional activities.

One of the positive sides of the rules set by the SC07 team is that it seeks to increase engagement, commenting, and mutual support activities on the platform. However, on the other hand the curator team should not rule out the quality of potential posts. Especially with the reason that this post has no comments.

Regarding posts that don't have comments, it's natural because these posts have only been published a few hours. Increasing the involvement of all users on Steemit is not an easy thing. We have also tried to invite everyone to get involved to support and interact on the platform, but unfortunately many of them ignore it.

To get out of this problem, we have to consider the following reasons:

  • The curator team should not rule out the quality of potential posts.

  • Regarding comment engagement, set a limit that if a post has no comments at all until 5 days after publication, then the post deserves to be ruled out but also without compromising the potential quality of the post.

  • Potential posts must have comments at least not expire up to 5 days after the post is published.

  • Potential posts should be curated early to increase the value of proof of work done by the author and aim to bring the post to trending, at this point the curator team should rule out comment involvement.

  • In general, users will engage in comment engagement on trending posts, while if potential posts are not brought to the trending level, don't expect there to be comment engagement.

  • The curator team must be prudent and rule out exceptions to the rules for a number of potential posts, most importantly that the user is in club status.

  • Because the purpose of having a team of curators is an effort to increase the value of original and quality posts.

  • All users must be actively involved to support each other and interact on the platform.

That's my review of a problem I recently encountered on the Steemit platform. This post is based on facts and experiences that I got. I hope everyone on the platform can leave their feedback in the comments column to provide suggestions and criticisms of the reviews I posted.

Thank you to everyone who has read and responded to this post.

Thanks to @steemcurator01

Best regard,

I am happy i came across this post, especially on the part of not surpporting a post because there is no comment. Although it encourages engagement and the same time it is discouraging to get that reply that your post was not curated for having no comment. If they will change the rule better. If not we move.
Thank you for all this point @ponpase
