Welcome to 2020!

If I haven't said this to you before, let me make a mence:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Let's make 2020 a year to remember (for being awesome, obviously)!

I was wondering as I was trying quite unsuccessfully for a while to wake up this morning what would be a great way to start our Steem day.

I found it! Here it is:

Re-watch or watch if you haven't already Tim's (i.e. @roadscape) presentation from the 1st day at Steemfest 4.

We all think we know communities, have opinions, discover bugs, but in the end it's important to keep an eye on the man with the vision and who assembles everything together.

And I love how his vision sounds and comes together! Enough to listen to it again at the beginning of this new year and to advise you to do the same. You won't regret it!

In a conversation I had with @paulag last night in-between dishes and the sound of music (you gotta love-hate smartphones!), I offered to give her and @jayna a link to the GitHub issue where @roadscape describes how he sees first user experience for Hivemind communities and the challenges.

I thought I should include it in a full post as well, because many people would like to see this, I believe.

Here it is:

Here's my communities feedback now, on January 1st 2020: I really believe they will be awesome!

Thanks very much for the mention, @gadrian. I appreciate you sending that information along! I will watch it.

You're welcome! Don't forget about the github link. And don't be scared of it, if you heard it mentioned before in relation to coding. At least this particular page has a language 'mortals' can understands. ;-)

Personally, I don't think communities will have the boost the people hope for. Happy new year 2020!

That's actually great! You can keep me and others grounded if you feel we take off without a solid reason. :)

Congratulations @gadrian! You have completed the following achievement on the Steem blockchain and have been rewarded with new badge(s) :

Happy new year to you too. I have a better head on me today and will now look at this link properly :-)

Yeah, I had a headache yesterday morning too. Not from alcohol, because I don't drink, most likely from the lack of proper sleep.
