Hello friends! How are you?

I'm glad that this community always has new posts related to agriculture and nature, two topics that I believe are very important for our existence as human beings.

But today I wanted to share with you some photos I took of my dad's garden. Yes, because during this period, my parents went on vacation for a week at the seaside, so, as I do every year, I'm taking care of the garden and the vegetable patch at my parents' house.

They live about 12 km from my home, so I went there a couple of times to water the plants, especially since, unfortunately, in Italy, temperatures are still high. Can you believe it? It's the beginning of September, and it's 35 degrees. I have no memories of such temperatures at this time of year.
Anyway, you also have to be careful not to overwater. As you can see, they have a garden with both flowers and ornamental plants, as well as a small vegetable patch for growing tomatoes, lettuce, eggplants, and a few peppers.

It took me about two hours to water everything properly, but the biggest problem is the mosquitoes. There are so many of them this time of year, and you also have to be careful because, unfortunately, some diseases from tropical countries have recently arrived in Italy.

The water I use for watering comes from a well because my parents have a photovoltaic system, so they use a motor connected to the electricity to draw water and use it for the garden. You probably know that, for example, in that area, they have a public water supply, so they have drinking water, but it can't be used for irrigation because it's full of chlorine, which would harm the plants.

I hope you liked the photos I shared and that they somehow accompanied you in this moment of daily life. I'll see you in the next post, and I wish you all a good start to the week.

"Wow, what a lovely post! 😊 I'm so glad you shared these beautiful photos of your dad's garden. It looks like a little slice of heaven! 🌿️ I totally agree that agriculture and nature are essential for our well-being. Your care for the garden is truly admirable, and it's great to see someone taking responsibility for their family's property while they're away on vacation. 💪 Can't believe those crazy Italian temperatures in September, though... 35 degrees Celsius? Mind blown! 😮 I'm curious, what are your favorite veggies growing in the patch? And how do you protect yourself from all those pesky mosquitoes? 🐜 Any tips for us garden enthusiasts out there? 🤔 Thanks for sharing this delightful post and for being part of our lovely Steem community. We're rooting for you (and XPilar Witness) to keep growing and thriving! 🌱👍 Don't forget to vote for XPilar Witness by going to https://steemitwallet.com/~witnesses, and let's keep spreading love and positivity throughout the Steemiverse!"
