Another stroll among the ripe grapes!!

How are you? Yesterday I took the opportunity to go help my uncle with the grape harvest, a job I don't really enjoy, but sometimes in the family, you have to lend a hand. During my break, I decided to take some photos to share with the community.

By now, the grapes have fully ripened, although many farmers are still waiting for them to increase in sugar content. This is because if you bring grapes to the winery with a higher sugar level, they pay more per kilogram, as these grapes are excellent for making wine.

Unfortunately, the downside is that harvesting with the quite warm temperature is really an issue, as there are plenty of mosquitoes and gnats that constantly attack and sting, which is not pleasant at all.

When I finished harvesting, I took a really nice, relaxing walk, and then went home to take a great shower. I’ve never liked harvesting because you get quite dirty, and everything sticks to you due to the juice that comes out of the grapes.

One positive thing about this time of year in the area where I live is that you can really smell this enveloping aroma of grapes, also because, as you've seen from other photos I've shared here in the community, my house is practically surrounded by vineyards.
