Hello friends,

I am very happy to share with you the photos I took yesterday, when I went with my wife for a short walk, as usual in an area where grapes are grown. However, this time, I went to the hilly part, where you can also see a beautiful view of the surrounding valleys.
You know how much I love walking, keeping in shape, but also being in nature. I consider myself very lucky to have all this greenery near my home, which is something not to be taken for granted in Italy.

In this area, as you can see, the grapes are practically already ripe and will be harvested in the coming days, even though thanks to the consistently warm and sunny weather, they’re a few days ahead of schedule. However, they will be harvested around the end of September, as the harvest starts in the plains and then moves to the hilly areas. This is done so the grapes ripen more, which increases the sugar content needed for wine fermentation.

One of the nice things about walking in these areas is that there is practically no traffic. The roads are much narrower, and mostly only farmers who work in the fields pass through here.

I’m also sharing with you the beautiful panorama visible from this area. In fact, I can’t wait for autumn to arrive, because the vine leaves will change color, creating a wonderful visual spectacle.

I hope you liked the photos I shared. I’ll definitely bring you along on my next walk, so see you in my next post! See you soon!
