No @silvergrifin007, I am not aware of any plans to do that. However, our Steem blockchain is in a real mess at the moment. No telling what might happen.
I have read that some people are backing up the entire Steem blockchain, in the event there is a hardfork executed later. In that event, presumably those who execute it will have done their best to preserve everyone's hard work.
I do not know about the concept and usage of Steem blockchain. So, I am currently studying, but it is difficult. I would be grateful if someone explained.

... you are not alone in this, if that helps. I'm sure there are a lot of people who only have a vague idea about what it is. Like you, they do not let it prevent them for participating "in here."
