RE: Here comes the "SUN"...

I don’t care much for uncertainty in my life, and when faced with it, I tend to see all that can go wrong. Life, however, by its nature is uncertain, so I mostly drift around feeling anxious and hoping it’s not too bad.

You, on the other hand, look uncertainty in the face and choose to find the best possible outcomes while still being aware that it may not be so good, only dealing with that IF it comes to that. Yours is the encouraging (and well stated) path! You’ve already won half of the battle!

Thank you @jdkennedy I appreciate your inspiring input toward what I have expressed. I will add though, that much like you, I can also be very anxious about a lot of things and worry myself unnecessarily - so in many instances, my mindset is a conscious "choice" rather than a natural response. Believe it or not - practice that often enough (whether you are convinced or not at the time) and mark my words, you will feel your emotional and thought reactions beginning to shift.

But - also, there is also nothing wrong with how you process things either. We are all who we are for good reason and our unique trait combinations ALL have their benefits!

Very true! I can say that I’m better at encouraging others than I am with myself. I can live with that :). It also makes receiving encouragement easier as well! Cheers!

I think this is the case for many people - and that includes me many times too!
