Avoid Yourself From Showing Off

Riya is dangerous because he does good deeds, he does things, but not for religious purposes. So the danger is that he does not get a reward from God. Indeed, his goal is for praise, that is the danger.

So, how to reduce it?
There are 3 things. How to control us. When people want to do something, then correct them first. Stop when doing it.

The second is when we take action. Before doing something, or having an intention. That's why people used to teach us to have good intentions, to pray. Praying strengthens behavior. Because people who do bad things rarely use prayer.

For example, he wants to pickpocket "nawaytu ngopet", no pickpocket prays like that.

So, before doing charity, we have an intention, the intention is really prayed for.

Second, when doing charity, because later the devil can tempt us when we are doing charity. For example, we pray properly, but behind us there is a future in-law, then the prayer is made long, to the point of reading all sorts of verses, even though usually we don't. That's excessive, or made up.

The third is after doing charity, that's the most difficult. We give something, but it's hard to keep it. Bringing up charity becomes insincere. Okay, earlier we were talking about guarding. Guarding in the heart, guarding the intention, guarding the action, guarding after the action is done. Let's say fasting, fasting is whether you like it or not, if people say it's not if fasting is sunnah, fasting on Monday, Thursday for example. Then later there are relatives, or neighbors who are gathering with friends for example. Suddenly there is a friend who might be celebrating, then he offers us "let's have lunch."

Now, the question arises, what should be done?

So, if it is sunnah fasting, rather than offending feelings, then still break the fast, he gets two rewards. Remember, if it is sunnah.

Sunnah fasting, we are fasting sunnah, if there are people who hold a party together, then we get two rewards. The reward for fasting is still counted in full, two, respecting people.

This is true, I'm serious. If you don't believe it, please ask your ustadz, your religious teacher.

But if fasting is obligatory, it is not allowed, it must be said "oh, I'm fasting, sorry I can't join you to eat together."

That's why in Indonesia, fasting on Syawal is sunnah. But it's better in Indonesia not on the second, third, fourth day. Well, that's a time when there are still many people who are maintaining ties, halal bil halal, if possible don't fast first.

6 days, 30 days, you can still choose any time. It's not very wise to do the first day of fasting and then invite you to eat so you can get a reward. That's cheating the angel, that's the speckled name. It's better not to do it on the second day, or the third day, don't. Those are times of friendship, or halal bil halal. Hold on until two weeks after Eid Ketupat is finished.

For example, if you are fasting, this is a sunnah fast, but you are told to break it because of your husband. That is allowed, especially if you have a new husband. It means you are allowed to make your husband happy. Sorry, that's why you have to ask your husband's permission first. That's why if you are fasting sunnah, you have to get your husband's permission. That's why there are also advantages for women who don't have a husband, because they are free to fast the whole day.

Greetings always compact.
