Sometimes, only sometimes, do I think Trumps election was a good thing. He is going to great lengths to expose all the corruption that has gone on for years with his blatant actions. I think his stupidity is helping the mask slip and maybe under all his idiotic behaviour this is his plan. In the long run maybe he is showing us that the whole thing is a swamp left and right.

I think you have that a bit backwards. In the investigation into Russian collusion is what is letting the mask slip as to how corrupt our national intelligence can be. Every day more evidence is unmasked of their operation into colluding with the democrats against their republican contender and a coup to try and remove a duly elected president.
Both sides are full of corruption. The illusion of choice when the same things will happen no matter who is in power is what i find laughable. My point is Clinton would have been as corrupt as Trump but would maybe have been able to hide it better.
As regards Russian involvement in the election I wouldn't be surprised. Both countries have always tried to effect other countries politics. That said I have yet to see a smoking gun except normal propaganda.
