A long dry season in Banda Aceh, Indonesia has come . It's been almost two months since the rain did not come down to the earth. That’s why the weather is so hot and dry. A hot sun burns the surface of the ground to paint the small cracks on it. In the heat of the hot sun, the turtle named Baneng was goes slow. He passed a place away to find a new home.

Blue lake that became his home first has already dried up. The sun has roasted all the water of the lake until it evaporates. It becomes dried and no aminals unable to survive it. The heat was burning. Then Baneng initiated to visits a small village nearby the lake. The village is inhabited by many animals.

Despite the long drought, but the grass and trees in that place still looking grow thick and fertile. The Baneng began felt thirst and hunger. He finally to stay in the village.

“Maybe I can get some foods in this village,” think Baneng.

But after, he suddenly entered the village, all was not as expected. He's been trying to ask around. Want water and a little food, but no one cares.

Baneng was even mocked and laughed at.

“Hey guys, look at this. There is a lost tortoise, instead of turtles living in the lake? Are you wanna find a new home? Maybe he was walking again but has forgotten returns back to home. You can imagine that his step is very slowly. I ask you again, how many years again you’ll arrived to your home?” asked Fox.

The animals laughed at and taunted the poor turtle. Ahurt ..Turtle turtle decided to get out of the village. Due to hunger, thirst, and exhaustion, he finally decided to rest.

He took shelter under a tree on the edge of the village. Suddenly, a rabbit came to him.

"What are you doing here, friend? May I help you please?" ask the rabbit.
"Oh my dear friend, I was wandering looking for a new house because the lake now has dried,” Baneng answered.

"So what your name?" Ask the rabbit with friendly.

"my name is Baneng, and you?" Asked Baneng again.

“My name is Marmot,” rabbit answered.

I live in a plantation nearby on the edge of this village. And I think you seemed to be exhausted, it's a bit of bread and water, please eat and drink it,” said rabbit kindly.

“Thank you, you’re vey kind. You are so different from the another animals who are in the village,” said turtle.

They also often mock me as "the face of mud" because I’m a gardener. I’m looks so dirty.
But never mind because I never take seriously their taunts,” said the rabbit.

“If what you are looking for is a new house, maybe I can help you,” said rabbit again."

The Turtle face looks very happy.

“ Well, in the east of this valley. There is a large lake approximately 100 meters. The water never dry even though the dry season for anything. Maybe you can be there, " said a rabbit.

"thanks for your guidance. I am indebted to you. I hope, someday I can reciprocate. bye,” said the turtle.

He walked to the lake as shown by a rabbit. Every time quickly passed. Day by day, week by week, and week after month.

A year later. ahot dry season changes with the rainy season. It was raining heavily. Almost seven days of rain fell incessantly. Finally, the disaster came. The terrible floods swept through the valley and killed many animals in this village. The village was flooded, a rabbit almost drowned because he can not swim. But all of a sudden, theturtle came to his aid.

He put a rabbit on his back and then he swam to the higher. A rabbit finally was survived and safe. Alright, in this fairytale story we can take lessons that must to help each other.

Hey Taufik, I'm enjoying your stories a lot... but the #GooglyEyes here are really just part of your drawing here and not bringing an "object" to life.

Feel free to keep posting... I'll certainly leave my small upvote, but it doesn't qualify for the prize, though.
