Hello!

Today I am back with a garden update. The temperatures are dropping for Autumn so I have been refreshing the beds, weeding and planting new seeds. I am not done planting by any means, this is just an initial look into what I have on the go at the moment!

As I mentioned in a previous post I was excited to grow some leafy greens again - I tried and failed to grow some spinach and carrots before the summer heatwave, so those were first on my list. I have these lovely perpetual spinach seedlings popping up and a few rows of rainbow carrots appearing too.

Newcomers this year include radishes, parsnips (not germinated yet!), purple sprouting broccoli and two varieties of peas: golden and purple! I've only grown petit pois in the past, so I can't wait to see these beautifully colourful ones.

That's all for now! Going forward I will be planting some salad veggies, herbs and more brassicas.

Let me know if you like these sorts of posts and I will make them a more regular thing - it's good to keep things interesting!

They are all so cute! I hope they will grow well this time :) I love spinach and carrots! Looking forward to see more. You're one lucky girl to be able to plant spinach now :) Thank you for sharing and have a nice evening!

They are, aren't they? :D I am hoping the cooler temperatures will yield positive results this time. I'll be showing more plants as they grow, I am most looking forward to growing fresh oregano as I've never grown that before. Glad you liked my post, I hope you are having a good evening too!

Oh those little sprouts look so cute! And that bigger furry one too :))

What is the first flower? Honeysuckle? Very pretty!

Haha I love my big furry cutie! He's such a sweetheart.

It is indeed honeysuckle! It has been flourishing over the last couple of weeks. Smells divine!

Great update on your garden @gardeningchef. Those fresh looking seedlings are looking very healthy. Can’t wait to see them develop and see what you cook up with them come harvest time. That is a sweet photo of your cat too, what a beauty! Fabulous quality photos as always - Resteemed and upvoted.

Thank you for your kind words @sallybeth23 - I too am excited to see the veggies develop and cook some hearty delicious meals with them! My kitty is always snoozing around the garden somewhere - he was under a lavender bush in that shot!

Thank you for the boost of support also, you are very generous!

Have a wonderful day :D

Keep up the good work. It’s great to see more regular posts from you too. The more the merrier as they say 😜

hello how good your culture looks There is nothing better than sowing and collecting the expected results. You really have a good hand to plant. I congratulate you. I like agriculture, although here in Venezuela there are not many vegetables. Thank you for your support and your vote.

Hey @edgargonzalez, thank you for your kind words! It is a very rewarding process, I have not been gardening for very long so it is still a new and exciting feeling to see my vegetables grow.

Sorry to hear you cannot obtain many vegetables, would you like me to send you some seeds so you can grow more? I'd be happy to if you tell me what would grow well there.

Thanks for commenting and supporting me also! Have a great day :D

The flower photos are so pretty, and your garden is an envy for me as we are going into winter!

Thank you @icybc! The honeysuckle is doing well now the summer is over. I hope you are able to do some gardening soon once the worst of the winter cold has gone!

Wow GC,
STUNNING pictures - it is wonderful to see your garden progressing so fast!
