I woke up quite late today with sore muscles. I don't know if it's extreme humidity or if I was actually tired. Nevertheless, I decided to make my favorite Sunday breakfast; Whole Wheat Pancakes with coconut cream and honey.
The recipe is easy but I'll still share it with you guys

Ingredients

  1. Two cups whole wheat flour
  2. Three tablespoons raw sugar
  3. One teaspoon baking powder
  4. Half teaspoon baking soda
  5. Half teaspoon salt
  6. One teaspoon cinnamon powder
  7. Two cups buttermilk
  8. Two eggs
  9. Three tablespoons butter or vegetable oil

Procedure

  1. Mix whole wheat flour, sugar, cinnamon powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in one bowl and buttermilk, eggs, and vegetable oil in a separate bowl
  2. Pour buttermilk mixture into dry ingredients. Stir just until combined (batter may seem a bit thick)
  3. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-low heat for 5 minutes. Pour 1/3 cup of batter onto the hot skillet and use a spoon to spread the pancake a bit
  4. Cook until bubbles start appearing on the top. It will take 2 minutes
  5. Flip and cook until browned and set in the middle, about 2 more minutes
  6. Repeat process with the remaining batter

When all pancakes are ready, garnish it with coconut cream and honey yayyy
