Health Advantages of Milk

Milk is the best drinking liquid for humans that provides almost all of the essential vitamins, minerals. Those vitamins and minerals are very important for the human body. Health benefits associated with milk are as under:

Complete Food

Milk is known as the complete food or complete diet. Because milk contains the best proportion of carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins, and minerals almost as same as the body requires. It contains 3.7% carbohydrates, 3-5% fat, 4.5% protein, calcium, magnesium, zinc, iron, all fat and water-soluble vitamins too. These all are required by the body for normal functioning and growth of the body.

Makes the Heart Strong

Milk contains potassium, which is an important component of the human body to maintain blood pressure. If blood pressure strikes, then it can cause damage to heart and blood vessels. Calcium not only makes the bones strong but also plays an important role in blood vessels synthesis. Calcium makes the vessels elastic so that can bear some extra pressure.

Healthy Teeth

Milk does not only provide minerals etc. but also acts as preventive material in the body. Milk reacts with the acid in the body and helps neutralize it in the stomach and in the mouth too, preventing teeth from acid actions that can cause serious damage to the enamel of teeth, enabling bacteria to spoil the teeth.

Healthy Glowing Skin

Milk should be an important part of the diet if anyone wants to have a healthy glowing skin. Use of milk cream on the skin as a moisturizer is not new, it is used for thousands of years. Milk bath is taken for the healthy glowing skin and hair. The milk cream, minerals, and vitamins help the skin and hair to glow.

Calcium Source

Milk is also a good source of calcium. Calcium is an important mineral for the bones and teeth development and maintenance. If someone lacks calcium in the body the bones and teeth will grow slow or becomes weak. This disease is known as osteoporosis, in which bones will not grow well and by any even simple shock will be broken down.

I use raw milk and cottage cheese which i get from my local farmers market

Raw milk can be dangerous. Because it can contain tuberculosis that can cause T.B disease. Always use heated milk

I love to consume milk a lots! But, since it found that I am allergic on it, I stop it now. I got acnes by the milk. It hard to say good bye but I have to. :)

Very nice article. Blacks though are lactose intolerant, my husband can't stand milk because it causes him great discomfort.

Yes that is one reason that many of us cannot use milk. I will post something for that too
