RE: Food Dates: An Avenue To Be Wasteful?

in #food-safety7 years ago

@gloglo... In as much as I appreciate you exposition on the shell life of products, I for one still believe that there is a thin line between quality and safety when it come to human health.

It is better safe than been sorry for eating any food that has gone beyond the BB dates especialearly daily for products that one gets to consume on daily bases like sausage rolls.

Successive consumption of reduced quality products that have exceeded the BB dates will sooner or later have a cummulative safety effect.

Well this is not to encourage eating foods that has gone beyond their BB dates, but it is just to clear people's idea on wasting foods and thinking some days after BB dates means food is not still safe.

However, no one should continously feed on expired products on daily basis, foods should be eaten and preserved well before its BB dates. Thank you for that bright contribution.
