Today, in this world we live in, raising a child can be not only a tedious task, but difficult in large part because there are too many distractions.

Christian parenthood is something that becomes a problem for many families because they want their children to be raised as good Christians. However, a few simple steps, if taken sincerely, will surely help you raise your child like a good Christian.

1) Illuminate

You must emphasize to your child the importance of faith and the importance of always staying close to religion. Spend time with your child and tell them why religion is important and why it will make a difference in their life.

2) tell a story

In all fairness, all kids love stories and if the story is inspiring, they'll use the characters in the story as role models. Plus, the Bible has so many stories to tell about mankind's best attributes and how a simple man leaned toward his religion and got everything he ever wanted. Tell your son or daughter about these stories in an engaging way. If you do this, they will surely have more than one reason to want to grow up to be a good Christian.

3) Say your prayers together

Make it a habit to pray together, whether it's for a meal or going to bed. Kneel down and pray with your children, as this will not only bring them closer to religion, but it will plant the idea of always doing it regularly, even when they reach the age of maturity.

4) Eliminate evil

In every society there is good and there is bad. Talk to your kids about this part of society and do your best to make sure they never come close to evil. However, a man is always prone to mistakes, which means there will be times when your kids might do something wrong, intentionally or not. Rather than beating yourself up physically, punish them in another way (constructively) so that the thought of doing something bad is stopped by fear of retribution and the wrath of God.

5) Judgment day

Help your children understand the importance of Judgment Day. Once they know everything about that day, they will have a clear picture in front of them and will do their best to refrain from practices that infringe on Christian Parenting.
