Poet Rokonuzzaman Khan wrote in his poem 'Smile', in the Kajal Bill, Shapala laughs, laughing green grass / cheating fish, smiling laughs The poets also found the sweetness of endless pleasures in the cheerful fish. Now the scientists of Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute have achieved success in production of fermented fish pona through artificial breeding.

According to sources at the Mymensingh headquarters of the institute, the technology has been developed from Syedpur Freshwater Water Station of Nilphamari district of the institute. As a researcher, senior scientific officer of the epicenter said. Khondakar Rashidul Hasan and Scientific Officer Shawkat Ahmed The scientific name of the case is Colisa fasciatus. Naturally, this species is found in Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Myanmar. There were lots of fish available in sweet water ponds, especially ponds, rivers, and canals along the fountain. Inadequate application of pesticides in paddy crop, unplanned construction of dams, drying of ponds, fishing waste, etc. due to habitat and reproduction, destruction of the fish has reduced the abundance of these fish.

In view of this, it is necessary to invent artificial breeding techniques of Khislar to ensure the availability of pona to save the species from extinction and to cultivate. Since 2016, Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute, Freshwater Water Depository, has collected Kharkha fish from natural sources of Saidpur, and has been conducting other research in pond brood feeding, determining egg retention, identifying correct reproduction.

It has been found in the pond, 8-10 centimeters (15-20 grams) of pistachio fish mature. Eighty-five thousand eleven capacity in the age of age, size and weight of the fish. May reproduction from May to September. On the basis of these data, scientists of the sub-center were successful in inventing the technique of pona production through artificial breeding of the fish on July 12.

Researchers said that before the breeding season, fish are collected from natural sources and they are fed to build brood in the sub-pond pond. In breeding season, the hatchery tank is collected from mature females and male fish ponds and kept for five to six hours. After hormonal injection is applied. After 13-15 hours of application of hormonal injection, the mother gives the crockery eggs. After 20 to 22 hours, the egg produces Renu Pona. Due to this technology innovation, it will be easier to get pona for cultivation of Kharkha fish. Commercial cultivation of this species of fish will be possible.

In this context, the Director General of the Institute. Yahya Mahmud said that already 18 species of extinct species of pona production and cultivation techniques have been invented from this institute. These include Pabda, Gulshah, Tengra, Mahasol etc. These species of fish are now available in lots of markets. The prices of these fishes are also in the reach of ordinary consumers. It will also be possible in case of kharla fish.

There have been contradictory voices saying: fishes, when the correct term is fish. The derivative of this is not a Mobius strip to wipe your mind, rather an affirmation to the affirmative in all your endeavours...
