Crazy heart(2009)-A real life lesson

I have seen this movie a couple of months ago, but it is so fresh in my memory like it was yesterday. I choose it just because Jeff Bridges presence(I’ll explain later why). I like to see movies that inspires me, that blow my mind and even make me cry(just two times happened) and I like that because movies are simply art.

The main plot of the movie

We have Jeff Bridges in Bad Blake role, a faded country singer with a disappointment life and with few concerts in some bars. He drinks a lot and try to burry his past in alcohol. All this until one day when a journalist played by Maggie Gyllenhaal appears into his life and he start to change his life because of love reason.

Distribution

The principal character is Bad Blake, played fantastically by brilliant Jeff Bridges, whose life is broken-down and his only routine is drinking alcohol, being on roads and singing in bars. Maggie Gyllenhaal as Jean Craddock is the journalist who is supposed to save Blake’s life from collapsing. We also see Colin Farrell as a successful singer who will help to launch again the musical career of our protagonist and Robert Duval in Wayne role.
What I learned from this movie

I like to believe that almost every movie has a lesson to learn and Crazy Heart has many.
Most of us took a slap from life, then another, the unlucky between us took thousands and that is the case of Bad Blake from our movie. A person with way too many marriages, no concerts and with the company of a alcohol bottle, that is what a broken man looks like. Starting each day the same routine with the same ending.
How do you escape from it?

Unless you are a well motivated person that will start to change alone his life, you enter in Blake’s category. That persons that need someone else in their life to fix things. Jean Craddock is his angel, the one who came from nowhere just to bring light in his life. But someone else influence is all that person need? I think not, the wood is prepared, but only you could light the fire.
In conclusion

This movie really inspires me and is definitely a movie that I will watch again, be sure to watch you too.

For no reason whatsoever I really like your writing style.

Thank you, glad to hear that

You are welcome.

Voted as promised keep up the good work!!!

Thank you so much

You convinced me! I love a good cinema, mostly European one, but to be honest, my knowledge about movies is poor. People usually don't like to watch movies with me because I always want to watch "those sad, difficult, dramatic, mind washing" ones. On the other hand I gave up sometime ago on searching for the titles I would appreciate, so I watch movies maybe 5 times per year. It's mostly because of my lifestyle, lack of time and other priorities. But your writing encourage me to watch the movie. Thank you!

Glad to hear that, look up to my future movie posts then :D
