POWER AND TRUTH

Thy power,and truth,and love divine,
The same from age to age endure;
A word, a gracious word of Thine,
The most inveterate plague can cure.

HO! all ye heavy laden, come,
Here's pardon, comfort, rest, and home;
Ye wanderers from a Father's face,
Return, accept His proffered grace;
Ye tempted, ones, there's refuge nigh
Jesus of Nazareth passeth by.

JESUS, Thy far-extended fame
My drooping soul exults to hear;
Thy name, Thy all-restoring name,
Is music In a sinner's ear.
