Alexis Sanchez, a true Red Devil

in #english7 years ago (edited)

When we talk about english football, we imagine a field of play with fast players, facing the defender and looking for the opposite net with a quite overwhelming acceleration. That accurately describes Alexis Sanchez; the Chilean who dazzled every night in London wearing the Arsenal shirt, today he did it in Yeovil, by the FA CUP -the oldest tournament in the world- against Yeovil Town, but this time, with the shirt of the other historical english club: The Manchester United. And using Manchester United's most impressive number 7, which was used by George Best, Cantona, David Beckham or Cristiano Ronaldo.

Alexis, after arriving a few days ago for € 70 million (40 + Mkhitaryan), has perfectly adapted to the compact system of the portuguese coach Jose Mourinho. He was quick, agile as usual, and with amazing creativity, generated the first goal of the game, scored by Rashford. In the second half, after several plays generating danger in Yeovil central backs, the Chilean's debut ended in the 71st minute, when he was replaced by Jesse Lingard.

Undoubtedly, Manchester United in this month of January climbed several steps in their aspirations, and that it is Alexis Sanchez fault. Now, we are going to see if he shows this level to win the UEFA Champions League, the FA CUP and the English Premier League (only if their rival, Manchester City, goes down in the table, because they are 12 points ahead).

Manchester United managed to advance to the Third Round, after passing over Yeovil Town by 0-4 (Rashford-Herrera-Lingard-Lukaku).

Magnificent, he is an outstanding player and for me, United it is a very very dangerous team in the final stage of the UEFA Champions League.
