My dear friend and spiritual brother;

I can see why you liked my work so much. <3 We think and believe a lot a like!

My friend, I think what you are doing is also leading by example. You are near the top of this platform. You are the 1% and instead of letting greed grip you, you are using your influence to help others. This is honourable. I would also say that you did not succumb to usury either which speaks to your character, intent and spiritual desire to grow as an individual. There are some on here that cannot claim that. I respect you for the choices that you have been making.

Actions speak louder than words and you are a spiritual being of action. That is what excites me most. I too am here for relationships and I agree that this work has made a connection that I want to spend more time to foster and encourage.

I have no idea where this relationship will lead us all. I also expect highs and lows through that journey. Mistakes will be made. What will determine whether we get through this all is our capacity to be patient, resolve conflict and how we govern ourselves.

Each individual is responsible for their own actions and inaction. Let this team lead by example. May others witness what is going on here and may we start to influence others on how to self-govern and act in honour while helping those who struggle or are less fortunate.

We cannot change others, so we will lead by example. We will influence others and set the high standards upon which people will govern themselves on this platform.

This is yet another example of how people can self-govern and it brings hope and faith that we can do it without a centralized authority! Thank you for leading by example. I look forward to working on our relationship. I really like what I heard tonight. I am proud to call you a friend and moved to tears that you were quoting something I said ... even though you messed it up in the delivery! lol I forgive you. hahaha

I am proud to call you a friend and moved to tears that you were quoting something I said ... even though you messed it up in the delivery!

LOL, I knew I wasn't going to get it right, but the message was more important than the delivery. And yes, we definitely do think alike and see eye-to-eye on a lot of things. I can already feel the synergy picking up on this platform b/c of like-minded individuals.

What will determine whether we get through this all is our capacity to be patient, resolve conflict and how we govern ourselves.

That reminds me of the following verse in the good book:

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that rules his spirit than he that takes a city.

Proverbs 16:32

Thank you again for being on the STEEM blockchain my spiritual brother and may we learn and grow together.

A warming response @wwf, I see you as being a factor in FTGs decision to decentralize his stake and also provide fantastic encouragement to confirm this selfless path his is taking.

Best wishes to you.

That is a very generous gesture! Congrats on being on of the GREATS in Steem Land.

I love this initiative, and you've made some excellent choices :)

On a smaller scale, I'm also trying to delegate my available power to active members and up and coming authors.

Giving is infinitely better than receiving!

Much respect @fulltimegeek

Thank you @v4vapid! Glad to see this idea catching on.

Giving is infinitely better than receiving!

For me, giving is fun and addictive. I enjoy every moment of it.

Excellent to hear more SP distribution is happening, and I like the community area focus (even though I'm certainly not a budding author). Good luck, and if you need some numbers crunching I'd be happy to help.

Is it shameful if I ask you directly? I promise I won't let you down.

If you like we can chat on discord.

At the moment I'm not handing out any fresh delegations, I need to build up some additional sp first, I'll definitely take into consideration anyone who's actively engaged.

yes, giving is better than receiving..i am very proud when i got SP delegation from @fulltimegeek , so i can help any out there who have good content on art, it will be great if on future i got more ammo on me.

Wow admire such selfless service I won't fail to do same once I can

@v4vapid hey I am trying to create cc0/public domain licensed guitar lessons and much more. I am currently looking for SP and would love to chat on steem chat, same name, or discord TheFatKat. Thanks for your time!!

Excellent post and video.

awesome explanation man, THAT'S was what i wanted to hear about! you are doing an awesome job here on steemit and i see signs of you everywhere among the mortal steemians! keep it up!

Cheers to that!

Thank you for explaining your reasoning behind the delegation, it's much clearer to me now. Plenty of valid reasons for the approach, and the 'long game' were the words I was hoping to hear, and there they were, numerous times too.

Short game, sell your votes to MB, long game, engage and conquer with a team of stewards and have some fun with it too.

I didn't think about this 'less posting pressure' point, It sounds like you have more care, or concern for this place than many Orcas.

All good, steward abh12345 signing off. Peace!

After getting various requests to explain my reasoning behind delegating my SP away, I knew I had to make a video about it.

Short game, sell your votes to MB, long game, engage and conquer with a team of stewards and have some fun with it too.

The latter is going to be soo much fun! I already know.

It's much easier to do so with a list and a beer I guess!

I'm hoping we can make it a laugh and do some great things in Steemland at the same time.

Cheers!

I respect your choice, @fulltimegeek. It's been a while I came across your work. Good to know you are out to give. I still remember your gift in my early days here gave me the much encouragement to fight on. God bless you, bro. @greatness96

Thanks, and God bless you too :)

@fulltimeangel's been busy for a while I see <3 <3

Wow, @fulltimegeek, you have given me a lot to think about! First, this little plankton in the big pond of steemit is very humbled and grateful that you took notice. I have been so busy curating that I have not been able to post the kind of content that I want to. You are absolutely right when you say curating is hard work, but it is also gratifying.

You do realize that you have made a life long friend of this beaver? And because of your most generous gift to me, I in turn have made new long term friends across the globe! It is the most awesome gift of all.

It is better to give than to receive. What ever you give, returns to you ten fold. So if you offer friendship, guidance and knowledge, you will receive in kind 10 fold. I came to steemit, not to make boodles of money. I came to learn. To share. To give. Make awesome friends along the way. If you come here expecting massive bucks in the first month, then you are barking up the wrong tree.

Unlike you, I am not a mathematician, or a techie, or statistician. I don't do reports, grafts and analysis. I just write, take a few photos, share what little knowledge I have gained through life experience and curate. Nothing special.

I can't imagine you as a big bad ogre, flagging the spammers into oblivion even if they deserve it. But you are right that with great power comes great responsibility. And absolute power corrupts absolutely. Kudos to you for recognising this. So many don't.

It does level the playing field. I do know some newbies who do feel slighted when they get one or no votes. It is frustrating and disheartening. But they haven't learned yet, that they need to engage, read others posts, comment and upvote in order to gain some recognition.

I think I can understand that you have a little less pressure now that you don't have the steam power. But you should still give the best that you can be. That goes for all of us. Put the effort into what you do. It shows.

Thanks for the wonderful comment @cecicastor. You're a great example of how each individual is unique in their own way and provide a special service to the platform. I know you may not be a mathematician or technie, but what you bring is diversity and a loving attitude. Your engagement is also something not to scuff at.

I’m watching your video after a stressful day at work laughing and thanking God for you. You are hilarious, my favorite line was I keep the case of Monday’s off the block chain! Love it, using it, gotta blog about it.

I also love the fact that you share your views as a whale with us. I don’t think most minnows realize whales are fish humans too, lol.

You understand your influence and SP can effect many users. Proud ya, can’t wait to meet you, what are your thoughts on coming on air Tuesday night next week 7pm est to chat more?

Yes, the camera stare with the 'you know who you are' gave me a laugh :D

He makes you want to vlog, doesn’t he?

You are hilarious, my favorite line was I keep the case of Monday’s off the block chain!

Glad I can make others laugh! Nothing relieves stress quicker than humor. I know how a whale/orca/dolphin having "a case of the Monday's", on the blockchain, can have the opposite effect so I try to discourage that behavior as much as possible.

what are your thoughts on coming on air Tuesday night next week 7pm est to chat more?

Due to a lot of life changes going on right now, I may have to postpone that for a future date. But, I do love the inititive b/c nothing beats verbal communication. Letters and words can only go so far in building relationships. I also need to get accustomed to this content creation process and being a "presenter." This is still super new to me and a bit awkward.

Well, your doing better than your giving yourself credit for. Plus, practice makes perfect, so I look forward to your next video. With ththat holidays around th corner, this is tough time for sure. I’ll keep you in loop In the meantime
