Will trading bots take over the cryptocurrency market ?

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Trading bots have already been functioning in traditional markets for decades.

Trading bots are, unfortunately, not a new invention. They are active and even used by banks for decades. What this means is that there is a high chance they will be successful in the cryptocurrency market.

What are are they ?

Trading bots are a couple (hundreds ? , thousands ?) lines of code that is connected to funds and exchanges. These codes include functions that are operating as commands such as

1-buy when this happens
2-sell when that happens

or

1-based on this structure watch the market (or market history) to create yourself a huge database
2-create your own strategies based on your pattern finding / deep learning abilities
3-then simulate your strategies on the historical data as if it's the real time data
4-adjust / optimize yourself according to the results and determine the absolute best strategy
5-then use it in the real market and also continue collecting data and learning from the market to get your strategies even better
6-oh and while doing all this also run simulations at the same times to strengthen your main strategy

What is the opportunity ?

Trading bots as a concept is getting better with the progress made in AI industry by itself. On top of that, trading bots yet not that big on blockchain.

The opportunity here for investors is to invest in the infrastructure, for developers is to take a look at projects like https://gekko.wizb.it/
or
https://simdaq.com/ .

The opportunity for the Private Group of Investors is even bigger. We are planning to integrate a platform to support the PGAI Investment Bank which will allow it's user to make individual investments and sell back their profits at any time. We are also planning to partner with other foundations to make a couple of trading bots available that you can invest on the platform. We might even support our own development group on trading bots with the collaboration of our future partners.
