Breadwallet collected $ 7 million investment

Breadwallet, a bitcoin-purse provider, announced the completion of a new round of financing, within which it attracted investments worth $ 7 million, CoinDesk reports. The startup, first introduced in 2014, attracted funds from a group of investors, including DAS Capital, East Ventures, Globe Advisors, Liberty City Ventures, Maffin Inc, OKWAVE and Saison Ventures. A group of anonymous investors also participated in the financing.

According to Breadwallet, the funds received during the financing will be used to expand their own business and to scale the product, and will also be invested in new functions for bitcoin-purse. The startup announced the possible establishment of a new headquarters in Switzerland, making Breadwallet one of the organizations from the "crypto-currency valley".

That's what founder and CEO of Breadwallet Adam Treidman thinks about this: "Switzerland became the source of activity for the introduction of the digital currency, and we were attracted by its leadership in conservative financial legislation. The strong reputation of the country's financial confidentiality perfectly corresponds to our concept of giving people the opportunity to enjoy all the benefits of Bitcoin. "

Investors who took part in this financing, with good reason, rely on the growth of the introduction of crypto-currencies in the future and on the potential of the start-up.
