The theory.

-The FBI was attempting an arms trafficking sting to bust domestic terrorist. S.Paddock was/had previously worked for the various agencies directly and indirectly involved with the federal government and having connections to Lockheed Martin he was an apt candidate for runner in a sting. Paddock entered a Vegas hotel with a cache of small arms, looking to make a deal with suspected terror group affiliates. Something went wrong and the deal went sour, resulting in the death of S.Paddock. Having the weaponry they sought after and being poised to attack the general public (as is the usual motive), the terror group affiliates began firing upon the public at a music festival and left the FBI in a stick situation.. expose the failed sting operation or let terror suspects escape to cover their trail

Speculative Reasoning.

  • Paddocks history with government defense contractors and various federal agencies places him in a particularly useful position as a runner for such a sting.
  • Witnesses at the event of the massacre report multiple shooters, though validity of these claims are detested.
  • The is allegedly large gaps of footage of Paddock missing from the surveillance recordings.
The FBI could be said to lack transparency in answering of questions during press conferences, regarding the lack of video footage of Paddock within the hotel.
  • Paddock was reported to be carrying multiple types of small arms munitions which is seemingly inconsistent with the motive of a person looking to inflict maximum damage to a populous. Why not minimal rifles with maximum ammo?
  • Paddock seemingly lacked motive for such an attack, with reportedly little actions indicating any signs of such aggression leading up to the massacre.

Everything discussed is speculative theory, and shared for the soul purpose of discussion.
