The bitcoin Cloud mining scam

Bitcoin Cloud Mining:

Cloud mining is a good concept as not everyoe can afford to buy effecient mining equiptment or some people may not even have enough space to keep the equiptment (miners). However alot of Cloud mining providers take advantage of these people and lure them into their cave of lies, Not every Cloud mining provider scams their users however a large amount do. These providers that do this are most likely not even mining but use whats called a ponzi scheme to payout its older investors using the money of the new investors or they might not even payout at all. I am really angry at these scam sites as people placed their trust in them but they only took there customers money and ran away with it. The problem is that its really hard to tell which cloud mining providers are legit and which are not. Alot of scam sites make their sites look legit by adding picures of mining equiptment, fake addresses, fake phone numbers and these sites often offer and amazing roi (return on investment).

Hashocean:

Hashocean was the biggest cloud mining scam so far, they claimed that they had 7 data centers around the globe, their site had around 700,000 members and it went really well as people were getting paid into their bitcoin wallets until one day "poof!" the site went offline.. and Hashocean disapeared with millions of dollars worth in bitcoin. This made people furious but all hashocean did was tell people more bs and told people that they were ddosed and that the sites would be up again... but this never happend. There was also alot of fake facebook pages pretending to be Hashocean and offering people refunds if they would send some btc to their address, these facebook pages said that it was needed for a confirmation and that people would get their refund within a few days, but people never refunds and these Fake facebook pages ran away with peoples money. a petition has been made on change.org to bring this to the fbi`s attention and I really hope thing turn out to be good for all the people who have been scammed by Hashocean

Let me know if you have also been scammed by a fake cloud mining site and how it all happend:)

this is my first story/first time writing something on this site so If I did something wrong please correct me and any feed back is more than welcome

Great post! upvoted and followed you. I also got scammed by some z-cash miner site. Therefore I decided to test and compare all the largest cloudmining contracts with actual proof of mining gear in a google sheet file. I regularly update it so everyone can get the best deal for their money at any time! I also describe all the criteria you should take into account before buying a cloudmining contract.
