How to be pure on this earth !

First of all why is it important to be pure?

Matthew 5:8
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

So without purity no one will see the lord ! But we must be careful not to get into the mentality of us deserving anything because we are pure! God does not need anything from us!

So how do we become pure? Well let's look at God's standard!

Job 15:15
If God places no trust in his holy ones, if even the heavens are not pure in his eyes,

So how do we become pure when not even heaven itself it's pure to God!
Well the truth is we cannot! But yet God says !

Isaiah 1:18
Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.

It's incredible that the creator that sees the heavens as a dirty place wants to REASON with us about our darkness!

But his reasoning might not be logical to many! His reasoning it's simply this

Isaiah 53:4-5
Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted
But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed

Christ Jesus got crushed by his FATHER so that we won't ! That's how our sins can become white as snow but only with his help.

To receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and forgiveness of sins one must repent and be baptize in his name to be able to live a pure life in him!

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
