How much would this meal cost where you are? Part 8 - at Alitalia/Hamburg

Now now,

i was almost going to avoid making my 'international lunch' post for today, since the plan was to have a sandwich or something in a hurry since the schedule was tight. However, there was one more dish i wanted to try from this week's menu and couldnt resist attending my neighbor/restaurant.

Soup

What i had for today? Let's start with the soup, a vegetable soup , nothing special as you can see from the picture as well. Not bad, but almost no real taste. For the first time though, the bread was not good, i never mentioned how good the bread usually is here, how fresh,soft and hot, and now that it wasn't, i could easily taste the difference. This taught me to appreciate it more when it's good :DD

Main Dish

The main dish was vegetables with chicken and potato (don't expect a detailed recipe, can't understand the details from the menu in german, lol), which was decent i would say. Chicken had some kind of funny, sweet but not sugarish , taste which could bother some people, i didnt mind. Most of the vegetables though were a little undercooked for me. For example, the carrots were tasting as if they were not cooked , even the potatoes were kind of hard, although still tasty.

In the near future, i will be adding more 'stuff' in my descriptions,like experience/satisfaction and in a more templated form, possibly with appropriate pics or thumbnails.
