If you look at the SCMP you will noticed a recent spate of arrest concerning pyramid schemes. The ban on ICO is all related to this as some are seen to be pyramid schemes. Once the is over and regulations in place, ICO will be back to normal again but will take time. However with respect to the main cryptos, no problem what so ever. Life will go on.
