ART Challenge The Naked Ballerina

I live with the most amazing woman that I never even thought existed. She is a Master Stylist, as well as a gifted artist. This piece is one of my favorites and is currently hanging on our bedroom wall.

She grew up in the dance world from the age of 3 into her teenage years. She danced in multiple productions, and was beyond passionate about being a dancer. As an artist she was always inspired by the amazing shapes and lines that the human form was capable of creating. Previously she had been going through a landscape phase in her oil painting and wanted to do something a little more exciting, and on the complete opposite end of the spectrum, so she took her passion for dance, the human form, and created this beautiful work of art. With a focus on light and shadow, this piece really comes to life.
