Artwork Tutorial 💗 Mandala Moon

It feels so great to finally be able to draw again! It has been a while since I have posted as my life has turned upside down! Everything is settled down now though, which is so great, and I finally have my computer set up yay! I unexpectedly had to move out of my house and pack everything in a couple of days. It's actually crazy how much stuff you own that you never think about until you are trying to figure out which box it will fit in lol. It's also funny how when you are least expecting your life to change it just instantly does and forces you to move along with it. I was for sure planning on living in my old house for at least another 2 years, but there was sudden structural issues (it was an old house) that forced me to move as I did not want to live in a huge renovation! My new place is really great though, and I can see the great benefits this sudden change is forcing me to see. Everything happens for a reason!

Below I will share with you the step-by-step process of drawing this mandala moon.

I started off with drawing circles to create the shape of the moon and the base of the design.

I then drew the outline of the flower inside the moon and added more florals within.

More details were added around the floral design and the circle.

I then added the string details and the jewels hanging from the moon.

“Most people want to be circled by safety, not by the unexpected. The unexpected can take you out. But the unexpected can also take you over and change your life. Put a heart in your body where a stone used to be.”
― Ron Hall

It truly makes me so happy to be doing artwork again. It is an unsettling feeling when your whole routine changes, but that just forces you to establish a new one.

Girl, this is so beautiful, I love it!

Thank you so much!! :D

Such a beautiful mandala! It looks so elegant and I love the idea of it not being the traditional circle but a crescent moon instead. So creative! I'd also like to see it painted, if you want to do it.

In the other hand, I wish you the best of luck in your new house! Sometimes the unexpected things are the best for us.

I'm considering coloring it in now! Thanks so much, it has been stressful moving but worth it! :D

Wow @amethystrosee this is really beautiful. It looks like a design that would be great as a tattoo actually. Loved how you showed the creative process too. Very cool!

Oh and crazy to hear you had to move out. It's most definitely eclipse season!

Thanks! Ya I can totally see this being a tattoo. Oh for sure, that super blue blood moon on January 31 really hit me!

Very Nice,,
Amazing,,

Thank you so much :)
