... one of my favorite basketball players of all time was killed in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. According to news reports, his 13 year old daughter, Gianna, and a few others were with him and none survived the crash. It's a heartbreaking loss to the sports and entertainment world.

There is a tremendous outpouring of love and support for Vanessa and the Bryant family. People from all walks of life and all corners of the world have given tributes. In one city here in the Philippines, street artists literally just finished a Mamba House hours before the accident not knowing that it will become a tribute with murals of the NBA legend.
This whole thing was way too unexpected.
True. But it really made me reflect on life and its randomness. Seems like it can take an unexpected turn in the most unexpected hours.
