This is an animation conceived on normal and certainly unoriginal lines, instead like the Lion King but interesting and likable for all that. Ferdinand is a young bull calf, brought up in the Spanish geographical region and expert to fight matadors within the ring, however this sensitive soul would rather grow flowers.

When an emotionally wrenching catastrophe strikes, Ferdinand escapes the farm and finds brief happiness with a human family who're within the flower trade. He grows to a mighty dimension, content together with his floral lot, but this soft giant cannot get away his fate in the horrible gladiatorial enviornment of blood and sand.

Probably bizarrely, this brought to mind Tommy Steele playing a hapless bullfighter in an old 50s British comedy known as Tommy the Toreador, singing a cheesy number called Little White Bull. The voices listed below are an eccentric mix of yankee English, English with a Spanish accent, Spanish and in addition English with a Scottish accent, this final being David Tennant Nothing mold-breaking, however unassumingly fulfilling.

Quotes from this Animation Movie

Lupe: I can't wait to show you to the rest of the guys! They're gonna fertilize the yard.

Una: I'm Una...

Dos: I'm Dos...

Cuatro: And I'm Cuatro.

Ferdinand: What happened to Tres?

Una: [the hedgehogs look solemn and cross themselves] We do not speak of Tres.

Young Nina: [to Ferdinand] Who's a good boy? Who's a good boy?

Paco: I thought I was the good boy.

Lupe: Holy Beefaroni! You're ginormous!

Ferdinand: [In the china shop] Step lightly. You're a feather. A 2,000 pound feather.

Lupe: It's a dog-eat-dog, bull-fight-bull, everyone-hates-on-the-goat world.

Lupe: [Seeing all the trash on the ground] Some people are pigs. Ooh, a sardine can!

[eats the can, but spits it out]

Lupe: That has turned.

Valiente: That's the way it is. Either you're a fighter, or you're meat. So long, meat.

GOOFS
Ferdinand is known as Ferdinand from birth, when he's being raised on the bull camp. He then runs away and is adopted with the aid of a brand new loved ones, but how does this new loved ones know that's name is Ferdinand? He was once no longer carrying any identification tags, and he evidently could not communicate to the people to inform them this.
