Puppy Hit by a Car is Saved ♥

Hi, my name is Maya, I’m a 2 months old puppy and I’d like to tell you my story – how I got hit by a car and how another man saved me.

I was living in the back yard of a business establishment, and no one was taking care of us. Three days ago I got out with my mother to look for some food, and as luck would have it, a car hit me. The driver just took of without giving me a second look. I was in pain, my paw was injured: the bone was hanging up in the air, with its little claws hanging, and the flesh crushed. I was scared and ran away. For about two hours’ time I kept hearing the voice of a man who was desperately trying to help me. Eventually, I felt a warm hand picking me up and putting me in a car.

He took me to the vet, and I had surgery, but now the tissue isn’t looking very good, which can mean only one thing: my paw will have to be amputated. In all of this though, there’s one good thing: it seems like that man with a warm hand has adopted me from the first moment he took me in his arms.

The Thoughts of a Puppy
I only worry about my little puppy siblings now: what if the same thing happens to them? Or even worse? I sure wish that good-hearted people will save them too. They’re so little, it’s not their fault they were born on the streets. Nevertheless, they could be your trusted friends for life if only you’d take them in. I thank you, whoever you may be, for reading my story, and I pray to God that they will be taken care of!

Growing up. While the Chow Chow dogs are well known for their distinctive blue-black tongues, they’re actually born with pink tongues. They turn blue-black at 8-10 weeks of age.
