Attabad Lake - Hunza

Have you traveled one of the world's most scenic lakes, Attabad Lake, also called Gojal Lake situated in Hunza's town called Karimabad. Here are some interesting facts of Attabad lake:
It was created from a major landslide event that took place there in 2010 and many lost their lives during this incident. The maximum depth of this lake is 358m and it's about 21km long. For about 5 years since its formation, there was no way for travelers to go across the lake, but to get all there belongings and ever cars, jeeps and ambulance were transported from one corner of the lake to the other through boats.
